Exclusive interview with formerly imprisoned US Intel 'Whistleblowers' Jeffrey Sterling and John Keriaku along with writer/producer and chronicler of the late San Jose Mercury News Journalist Gary Webb will provide compelling commentary.

Other exclusive comments by Pentagon Papers 'whistleblower' Daniel Ellsberg and Noam Chomsky will also be given.

ICUJP 20th Anniversary & Regas
Courageous Peacemaker Awards

On the 20th anniversary of the 9.11.2001 terrorist attacks in New York and Washington, ICUJP recognized Rep. Judy Chu and 12 social justice organizations with the George Regas Courageous Peacemaker Award for their sustained efforts to cultivate a culture of peace. The event featured special live performances of Paul McCartney's 'Blackbird' and 'Go Down Moses.' Produced by Rachael Worby and Muse/ique, a nonprofit performing arts organization, 'Go Down Moses' featured Ashley Faatoalia (vocals) and Alan Steinberger (piano); 'Blackbird' was performed by Kenton Chen (vocals) and Kay-Ta Matsuno (guitar). Organizations honored were: All Saints Church Pasadena; Housing Works; Intellect, Love, Mercy (ILM) Foundation; Immanuel Pres. Church Food Distribution Center; Muslim Public Affairs Council (MPAC), NewGround; Poor People’s Campaign, Black Jewish Justice Alliance (BJJA), Clergy & Laity United for Economic Justice (CLUE), Friends Committee on National Legislation (FCNL), National Religious Campaign Against Torture (NRCAT), and St. Mark’s Lutheran Church/Sola Community Peace Center.

Exclusive Interview with Civil Rights era legend
and MLK mentor, Reverend James Lawson

Recently, I had the great honor and privilege to sit down with Civil Rights era legend and MLK mentor, Reverend James Lawson, one on one, in the sanctuary of the historic Holman United Methodist Church in the West Adams district of Los Angeles. Working on behalf of the Rabbi Leonard Beerman Foundation for Peace and Justice https://www.beermanfoundation.org, the mission was to celebrate the life and work of Leonard Beerman for a ZoomCast on what will be the 100th anniversary of his birth April 9th. For ninety minutes Reverend Lawson waxed prophetic and shared great insights on a range of social and religious issues facing America and the world.

Late last year just as the onset of Covid19, Videocratic Media owner Robert Corsini met with and conducted an in-depth interview with Pentagon Papers whistleblower Daniel Ellsberg, on behalf of the Los Angeles Committee in Defense of Julian Assange and Freedom of the Press.

This newly edited piece was created for the upcoming ZoomCast by Assange Defense. There's a lot to learn here -- but above all Assange and the Freedom of the Press are under attack. This should concern all Americans independent of political stripe.

Honoring Leonard I. Beerman Foundation for Peace and Justice

On Friday, April 9, 2021, the Leonard I. Beerman Foundation for Peace and Justice joined Leo Baeck Temple in celebrating the 100th anniversary of Rabbi Beerman’s birth.
A special Friday evening Shabbat service was followed by the Foundation’s Centennial Celebration, culminating in the presentation of our third Social Justice in Action Award to the Reverend James M. Lawson. Jim Lawson, a close friend, and ally of Leonard’s in the struggle for peace and justice is one of the legends of the Civil Rights Movement who tirelessly continues his activism to this day.
Reverend Lawson is one of the greatest teachers of the principle of nonviolence as the source of progressive social change.

Charlottesville Reflection

It was August of 2018 and it was yet another scorching summer all around the globe. I was on the road working on a feature documentary project about resurgent anti-semitism that was released last year, “HateAmongUs“.

My trajectory of human despair and mayhem took me and my crews to London, Paris, Berlin, Tel Aviv, Jerusalem, Los Angeles, New York, Washington DC and Charlottesville. Everywhere we went to film, it seemed like it was 95 degrees, with one-hundred percent humidity. Brutal weather for a brutal subject — in a way it was a real-life Dante’s Inferno, connecting human hatred from the past, to the anxious present we now live on planet earth.

Women Wage Peace'

Independent Documentary Series

Since 2016 Videocratic Media and the Jerusalem Prayer Project have teamed up to tell intimate stories of grassroots peacemakers in the Holy Land, Palestinians and Israelis, Jews, Muslims and Christians and their protracted struggles in the midst of occupation.

The first episode in the 'Warriors of the Heart' series tells the story of the 'Women Wage Peace' movement in Israel and Palestine, born in the aftermath of the Gaza/Israel war in 2014, and how today it has grown to 50,000 members in cities and towns across Israel and Palestine.

RECENT RELEASE

Hate Among Us'

In March of 2018, in response to exploding acts of anti-Semitism around the world, Associated Television International contracted with Videocratic Media to develop and produce a feature documentary on the frightening trend harkening back to the darkest days leading to WWII and the rise of Nazi Germany. Videocratic Media and Robert Corsini were tasked with producing and field directing expert interviews and personal stories of recent victims of anti-Semitism in Jerusalem, Tel Avi, Paris, Berlin, London, Washington DC, Charlottesville, New York, and Los Angeles. The result of this two-year journey is the feature documentary, 'Hate Among Us', currently entering worldwide distribution.
